Welcome to EasyChinese, the homepage of Mandarin Chinese Tutoring and Translation by Steven C. Poling Jr., Sinologist and Mandarin Chinese Language Expert. This is my own personal web-page dedicated to my passion and my career -- the study of Mandarin Chinese and the promotion of Mandarin Chinese learning.
On this page, you will find both information about the creator (that's me), including the instructional/tutoring services I offer, teaching both Mandarin Chinese and English in the Ann Arbor, Michigan and the Greater Metro Detroit Area. As an accomplished teacher and translator, I have taught as a Supplementary Instructor at Eastern Michigan University as well as at other schools. I have taught all-ages -- from children as young as four or five, all the way up to business professionals permanently relocating to China. And I'm Berlitz-Certified in Mandarin Chinese, too!
This page also contains an ever-growing collection of famous Chinese written works, both modern and ancient, alongside my own English translations created to aid learners of Mandarin Chinese.
