If one's carnal and his moral souls are embraced as one,
Could one be undivided?
If one concentrates the spirit to tenderness,
Could he make infantile [his spirit]?
If one cleanses away dark visions [of his imagination],
Could he be without fault?
In loving one's nation and governing the people,
Could one be action-less?
The opening and closing of the Gate of Heaven,
Could this be done like a mother bird [with her young]?
When one knows the Four Truths,
Could he be ignorant?
Creating them and raising them
Creating yet not possessing them,
Doing yet not relying on them,
Growing yet never dominating them
